Monument Re group is a growing international reinsurer established to operate as an asset intensive reinsurer and acquirer in Europe. We are rapidly growing and are currently looking for a Senior Policy Administrator with minimum 5 years of relevant experience to strengthen our team in Brussels.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Senior Policy Administrator will:
support and assist in developing the activities of Monument Re in Belgium through timely and accurate handling of all possible policy changes;
provide support for smooth integration of newly acquired portfolio’s / policies; and
also participate in continuous improvement of operational processes and infrastructure (IT platform) as key enabler to achieve business objectives; and
report to the Life Team Leader, based in Brussels.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Providing clear, timely and accurate answers to policyholders and brokers regarding “policy changes”, respecting terms & conditions of policies, operational guidelines and company procedures & controls;
Handle incoming calls from policyholders and brokers and provide clear information regarding internal processes, organizational steps and expected timelines;
Update policyholders and brokers pro-actively on the status of their requests;
Maintain and update the policy database (UL3 platform) accordingly to ensure accuracy of database/platform at all times;
Ensure policy administration is compliant with applicable fiscal and legal framework and company guidelines and procedures;
Contribute and elaborate documented Guidelines and Procedures within his/her area of competencies for new products and support their implementation.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
Extensive experience (minimum 5 years) as a policy administrator (Life Insurance);
Experience in handling group Insurance is highly recommended;
Sound knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Power Point);▪ Language skills: fluency in French/Dutch with good working understanding of English;
Detail oriented, enthusiastic, energetic and entrepreneurial;
Good communicator with high level of integrity;
Eager to learn and share knowledge, flexible and open-minded;
Team player, service minded and solution oriented;
Knowledge of UL3 (policy management platform) and a PCP certification (‘Person in Contact with the Public’) recognised by the FSMA is preferred.
