Koen Depaemelaere

Chief Executive Officer

Koen Depaemelaere has been Chief Executive Officer of Monument Assurance Belgium since 2019. He has over 25 years’ experience in the financial and insurance sector in the Benelux.

Before joining Monument, he held several senior management positions, including CEO of AXA Belgium’s Life Insurance business, CEO of Vanbreda Risk&Benefits, CEO of Portima, as well as executive roles in strategic and digital transformation.

As a member of the Management Committee, he contributes to the strategic direction and responsible development of Monument Assurance Belgium within its specialised run-off management model. He holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from KU Leuven and an MBA from Vlerick Business School.

Adrien Collinet

Chief Risk Officer

Adrien Collinet is Chief Risk Officer at Monument Assurance Belgium. He is responsible for risk management and oversees the compliance and actuarial functions.
He has extensive experience in risk management within the insurance sector, as well as financial expertise covering Solvency II, AML and investments. He previously held the positions of Chief Risk Officer and Head of Risk Management in Belgium.
As a member of the Management Committee, he helps to maintain the company’s prudential and compliance framework.
A qualified actuary, he holds a degree in actuarial science from UCLouvain.

Natacha Delie

Chief Corporate Officer & Chief Human Resources Officer

Natacha Delie is Chief Corporate Officer and a member of the Management Committee at Monument Assurance Belgium. She is responsible for M&A activities, legal affairs, regulatory matters, governance and human resources.

She has played a key role in Monument Re’s entry into the Belgian market and in the portfolio acquisition transactions carried out since 2018.

As a member of the Management Committee, she contributes to the sustainable structuring and responsible governance of Monument Assurance Belgium within its specialised business model.

A lawyer by training, she has in-depth expertise in regulation and compliance within the financial sector.

Jean-Philippe Aoust

Chief Financial Officer

Jean-Philippe Aoust is Chief Financial Officer at Monument Assurance Belgium. He oversees the financial, actuarial and investment functions.

Before joining Monument, he held various positions within the risk management department, developing strong expertise in Solvency II, ALM and capital management.

As a member of the Management Committee, he contributes to the financial strength and prudential discipline that characterise Monument Assurance Belgium’s run-off management model.

A civil engineer by training, he holds a Master’s degree in Actuarial Science from UCLouvain and an MBA from Vlerick Business School.
