What struck me most when I joined Monument was how approachable everyone is. Everyone plays their part and is on hand to help, provide information and collaborate. This is one of Monument’s greatest strengths. What’s more, the various events organised by staff, for staff, strengthen the bond between us all! As for the work, there’s always something new to learn – I’ve realised this through everything I’ve learnt since I joined, nine months ago already! I feel constantly challenged – on the one hand by what’s already in place and needs doing, and on the other by what needs improving, in my own way!

The collaboration I mentioned earlier is all the more important when we tackle more challenging issues, and the satisfaction of working together to resolve complex situations gives an even greater sense of achievement!
